-February inspiration for 2Crafty-

Hello 2Crafty fans,

It is my turn to share my February layouts. Playing with the 2crafty chipboards is 

always a pleasure.

 I hope you'll like my layouts as much as I had fun to making them!

"Hello Beautiful"

Hello Beautiful is a layout made with the school photo of my daughter.

In the "Hello Beautiful" layout, I embossed the "Feather" chipboard

 with a copper embossing enamel.

 The "Pointed Doily Frame", the "Decorative Disc Set #1" and the "Winter Twig Branches"
are inked and embossed with different colors of embossing ink. 

For the title, I used  aged white embossing enamel.

"Perfection"

For my "Perfection" layout, I decided to use a black background 

that I found gave it gave a boyish look.

For this layout, I used the "Diamond Chunks Bits" as a background, which I 

embossed with silver powder and then used black embossing ink on top of it.

I diluted some charcoal paint and applied it to the "Swirly Star Border". 

This gives a nice effect where the chipboard looks very roughly painted.

For the "Steampunk Gears", I also used paint, but a metallic navy blue one which I diluted less.

For the large "Wire Star" in the background, I used regular undiluted grey paint.

Finally, for the title, I used white embossing powder on the word: Perfection.

I also have an extra layout to present, because I'm a guest designer the CSI blog.
 I created this layout for the #248 CSI: Colors, Story, inspiration.

For this month, 2Crafty Chipboard is sponsoring their challenges. 

I used "Hearts Clumps" for the background. I applied a white gesso on it and

 I applied some waterpaint powder to the background. 

I left the "Mini Branches" chipboard at their natural color. For the little 

"Messy Square Frame", I used a glittering embossing powder.

Finally, for the title, I used the word "Love" from the "Fine Words Set #1"

 and applied embossing ink.

J'ai bien sur utilisé des matrices de coupes et des étampes Simple à souhait. De plus, les chipboards proviennent de la compagnie 2Crafty et les encres proviennent de la compagnie Aladine. J'ai utilisé les badges de la compagnie Accent Scrapbooking.

Ma première page est un défi que mon amie Jostralie m'a lancé. Je devais scrapper du fushia et du vert tout en y intégrant les produits de sa compagnie: Avecdesmots. 

J'ai d'ailleurs utiliser les produits 2craftychipbords, Aladine, AccentScrapbooking.

Precious Moments

La seconde page est une page que je réalise à chaque début d'année. (C'est un de mes petits rituels de scrap, cela me permets de regarder vers l'avant et de me trouver un défi à travailler.)

Par exemple: cette année, je veux vivre l'instant présent. Quelque chose que j'essaie de faire depuis plusieurs années grâce au Yoga. Maintenant, je veux vraiment l'appliquer lors de moments de stress intense.

2Crafty Chipboard - January Inspiration

"Life Documented"

Hello everyone!

I hope that 2018 is treating you well so far. It has been fantastic for me as I am 

absolutely thrilled to be joining the amazing 2Crafty team!

Let me introduce myself. I’m Sabrina Turpin, from Quebec, Canada, mom of two

 fantastic kids. I work in a daycare by day and I am a chipboard ninja by night!

For my first post, I’ll be sharing two new layouts. The first one, “Life Documented”, 

features my daughter having fun in a playground.

I inked and then used a transparent embossing powder on the

"Frame Madelines Flourish".

For the title I simply painted and inked it & the 

"Pointed Doiley Frames" I did the same.

Again on the "Tiny Leaf Stems" I did the same, just painting & inking as it looks so good.

These I used an embossing ink on the "Sharon's Butterflies".

For this page, I used the following 2Crafty Chipboards:

My second page, "Friends", puts into the spotlight one of my closest friend.

For the "Funky Hearts" I embossed them with embossing powder.

The larger hearts were painted and inked & the smaller ones were

 embossed with embossing powder.

The "Twiggy Branch" was painted painted with acrylic metallic paints.

The border is from the "Lacey Border Set #1"& both that & the "Damask"

 were painted in acrylic paints.

The "Friends" title was embossed with embossing powders.
