You are awesome for 2crafty

Hello 2Crafty fans!

Winter is finally over in the northern hemisphere and snow is slowly starting to melt here in Québec! This means we'll soon be putting our tuque away, enjoy warmer weather, longer days and the return of the color green after many months of endless whiteness outside! This inspired me to prepare the layout I am revealing today, using a touch of green to accentuate my monochrome winter layout.

On the "Robots" chipboards, I used silver embossing powder, used a green embossing ink on top and traced the contour with black ink.

For the "Star Bubble set", I applied a green paint.

This is another view of the "Star Bubble set".

I used black embossing ink on the title, "You Are awesome", then applied green embossing ink on top.

The following 2Crafty chipboards were used in this layout:
You are awesome [W00528]
Robots [M00232]
Stars bubbles set [M00666]

I've prepared a short video to show how I assembled the layout:

That's all for today! I hope you enjoyed this layout and it gave you some inspiration for your own creations! See you in two weeks with more ideas.

Embrace today pour 2Crafty

Hello 2Crafty friends,

It is March spring break here in Quebec (even if it's still cold winter here!), so it's the perfect time to have fun with the kids and create new layouts to share with you! So today, I am revealing a layout that highlights this happy, joyful mood featuring me, Liam and Mila as we're enjoying a meal at a restaurant to kick off the vacations!

For the "Stitched Lace Border", at the bottom right in the background of this picture, I've applied 2 coats of bronze embossing powder.

On the "11" Fina Floral Frame Set", visible at the right and top-left of the picture, I applied golden embellishment mousse with a brush.

For the "Doily Frame" around the picture, I applied a pink embossing enamel on the smaller frame and a white-gold embossing enamel on the larger frame. On the "embrace today" title, I applied a fine coat of white embossing ink so it lets the chipboard texture see-through. then dabbed a bit of copper embossing ink on top.

For the "Leafy Silhouettes" at the very left of the picture, I used some acrylic rose-gold painté

The following chipboards were used in the layout:
Doily Frames [FR0060]
Embrace Today [w00458]
Stitched Lace border [DB0099]
11" Fine floral Frame Set [120088]
Leafy Silhouettes [M00498]

For this layout, I inspired myself from the 13@rts march's challenge #76.

I used these few mixed media products for this creation.

That's all for today! See you mid-march for my next reveal. Until then, have fun creating!
