"Amazing Day" pour 2Crafty

Hello 2Crafty friends!

I'd like to share with you a nice colorful layout I did this week featuring my hubby and I enjoying the the sun earlier this year. I'm really happy with the result, with the colorful chipboards making everything pop out nicely.

"Amazing Day"

On the "Leafy Shrub Set 2", I applied pink embossing powder.

For the "Ornate Heart Set", I used orange embossing ink and then lightly traced the contour with black ink.

For the title, "Amazing Day", I simply applied yellow ink.

 I used the following 2Crafty chipboards in the layout:

Tranquil moments for 2crafty

Today I'd like to share a layout I made as a guest designer for CSI: Color, Stories, Inspiration for their Case No. 300 challenge! 

For this challenge, I was really inspired by the monochromatic background and punchy accent colors, and I had the perfect chipboards to achieve a stunning effect!

"Tranquil Moments"

On the "Decorative disc set in the back, I applied black paint and then dabbed some pink metallic embossing ink. For the "Frangy" just on top of it, I use honey colored ink, then added some orange embossing ink on top, dabbed some pink embossing ink and finally traced the borders with black ink.

On the "6 Dotted Heart Circle Frame", I applied green embossing ink.

 For the "12" Border Delicate Lace" right behind it, I used pink embossing enamel.

For the title text, "Word Tranquil Moments", I used black sand-effect embossing powder.

"You Rock My World" pour 2Crafty

My big boy is growing up too fast! This week he's leaving for a full week-end by himself to go to a big swimming competition. It's the first time he'll be so far from home by himself! He's growing up to be such a wonderful boy. That's why I decided to create a layout of him sending his love to the world. I'm sharing this layout with you, I hope it'll give you some inspiration!

"You rock my World"

On the "Stars" chipboard, in the back, I applied a black embossing ink and a glittering pencil on top (that's why it's shimmering like this). For the the "Swirly Star Border", in the front, I used a black gesso and then I applied some green wax on top that gives that metallic gold look.

On the "Checkerboard Clumps", I used some mint green embossing powder. For the title, "You Rock My World", I used a shabby green embossing enamel.

For this layout I used the following chippies:

"Live Laugh Love" pour 2Crafty

Hello 2Crafty fans!

Last week-end was pretty exciting for me as I was celebrating my birthday with a great bunch of friends and my family! To kick off the celebrations early, I decided that I would indulge a bit and prepare a layout featuring my own face juuuust before I get older again!

I'm pretty happy about the result, especially with the chipboards on which I tried a few new techniques.

"Live Laugh Love"

I hand-applied wax on the "Flourish Adornment Set 6" chipboard and inked the borders with black ink.

For the "Frame Celia's Flourish", I applied black paint, waited for it to dry, then applied rose-gold paint. I applied pink embossing ink on top and finally inked the border in black.

On the "Dianne's doily set", I applied white-pink embossing enamel. For the title, "Live Laugh Love", I used bronze embossing enamel.

"Summer" pour 2Crafty

Hello 2Crafty fans!

The cold weather is starting to set in here in Quebec, where the tree leaves are starting to fall and we've already had the first night where it actually froze outside! I'm already missing the summer gone only a few weeks ago, so a layout with some summer memories is the perfect thing to cheer me up!

"Summer"

For the "Flourish Adornment Set 7", I used red embossing ink and applied black ink on the borders.

On the "Ella's border", I used charcoal metallic paint, slightly diluted with water.

On the "Decorative Doily" behind the picture, I applied irridescent rose-gold paint and inked the borders in black. For the title, "line words summer", I cut the chipboard to only use the word "summer" and then applied some tea colored ink.

Love is in the air for 2crafty

 Hello 2Crafty fans!

A few days ago my husband and I took one rare break from the kids to go see a show together. It had been like what seemed an eternity since we last took the time to go out by ourselves! We had an amazing time and took a bunch of pictures. 

The layout I'm presenting today really capture that happy fun mood we were in that night. I really like the result and I've prepared a video to show how I worked with the products.

"Love is in the air"

On the "Aztec Feathers", I applied a diluted coat of blue-purple paint and then applied some purple metallic embossing ink on top.

For the "Frame Botanical", I used pearl colored paint and a transparent glaze to sprinkle microbeads on top. Then I inked the border with black ink.

On the title, "Love is in the air", I applied 2 coats of midnight gold embossing powder.

"Day at the beach" pour 2Crafty

Hello 2Crafty friends!

Summer time has officially come to a close here with my kids going back to school after two months of fun and amazing memories! They're happy to see all their friends again but they say they already miss the beach and can't wait to go back next year. We've been going for 4 straight years now and they enjoy it even more every year.

The layout I'm sharing today show them with the same pose taken on each of these four years. We made it so they wore the same swimsuit the first two years, but they've been growing too fast for us to repeat that after. 

"Day at the beach"

On the "Palm Leaves Set", I applied a green embossing ink and then applied green-gold wax on top.

For the "Flower set 1", I inked with teal ink and then used a blue embossing ink on top.

On the "Fish Net Bits", I used teal wax applied with a small brush.

For the title, "Day at the Beach", I used a blue-white-gold embossing enamel.
