"Fun in the Sun" pour 2Crafty et CSI

Hello 2Crafty fans!

This week I would like to show you a layout I recently made as a Guest Detective for CSI, accepting the challenge for their "Case file no. 286". Here the theme looked like good summer fun and this was perfectly fitting as we're just starting summer here up north!

Fun in the Sun

For the "Pointy Flower", I applied pink ink and then traced the border with black ink.

On the title, "Fun in the Sun", I applied gray pearl metalic paint and traced the border with black ink.

On the negative of the "Pretty Flowers", I applied honey-colored ink and then stamped an hawaiian leaves pattern with black embossing ink. For the "Fern Leaf set" at the back, I applied 2 coats of teal-green embossing powder to make them all nice and shiny.

Embrace today pour 2Crafty

Hello 2Crafty friends,

It is March spring break here in Quebec (even if it's still cold winter here!), so it's the perfect time to have fun with the kids and create new layouts to share with you! So today, I am revealing a layout that highlights this happy, joyful mood featuring me, Liam and Mila as we're enjoying a meal at a restaurant to kick off the vacations!

For the "Stitched Lace Border", at the bottom right in the background of this picture, I've applied 2 coats of bronze embossing powder.

On the "11" Fina Floral Frame Set", visible at the right and top-left of the picture, I applied golden embellishment mousse with a brush.

For the "Doily Frame" around the picture, I applied a pink embossing enamel on the smaller frame and a white-gold embossing enamel on the larger frame. On the "embrace today" title, I applied a fine coat of white embossing ink so it lets the chipboard texture see-through. then dabbed a bit of copper embossing ink on top.

For the "Leafy Silhouettes" at the very left of the picture, I used some acrylic rose-gold painté

Meilleur ensemble réalis et Bonheur: pages réalisées pour Simple à souhait

Voici mes pages que j'ai réalisées pour mon design team de Simple à souhait. Vous pouvez retrouver les chroniques sur le blog de la compagnie Simple à souhait.
La première a été réalisée pour le défi du mois de février et la seconde pour ma chronique mensuelle.

Chronique du mois pour les Étampes Simple à souhait

Puisque je ne suis pas adepte des résolutions en début d'année, j'ai décidé de créer une page, qui se veut une visualisation des défis que je m'impose, lorsqu'il vient le temps des résolutions. D'ailleurs, je crois sincèrement qu'il y a une grande différence entre les mots « résolution et défi ».  Ce dernier me permet de tenter de me dépasser et d'y mettre les énergies nécessaires afin d'y parvenir. Si, en décembre 2019, je faisais un bilan de mon année et que je réalisais que j'avais échoué mon défi, malgré plusieurs tentatives. J'aurais au moins la satisfaction d'avoir essayer. 

 J'ai fait cette création en début d'année. J'ai décidé d'utiliser le mot « Bonheur » de la planche d'autocollants en mousse puisqu'il représente un de mes mots « phare » de mon année en cours.

 De plus, l'expression « soi toi-même » de la planche d'étampes « Point » me rappelle continuellement d'être authentique envers moi-même, de me respecter et d'imposer mes limites lorsqu'une situation m'y oblige.

Afin d'ajouter une profondeur, j'ai utilisé l'étampe de « points » de la même planche. (Vous pouvez apercevoir les points roses pâles, derrière la découpe d'alvéole)

Crazy About You pour 2Crafty

Hello 2Crafty fans!

Today I would also like to reveal the layout I made as a guest designer for the CSI Case File No.273 to celebrate Valentine's Day. The real challenge for me was to give a modern twist to Valentine's Day.

Here are the guidelines that were proposed for the challenge. You can also participate and try to solve this case too! Try to find inspiration in background details like feathers, frames, or flowers. Chipboards are perfect for this, where they can add amazing touches to your creations and allow your pictures to really stand out.

I left the "Frame Flourish 2" to its natural chipboard color. On the "Pretty Dandelions", I used 2 layers of teal embossing powder to give it more depth.

On the "Tiny feathers", I applied blue-gold irridescent paint and inked the border with black ink.

I applied an aged rose embossing enamel on the title, "Crazy About You".
