 Hello 2Crafty friends!

This week is going to be a big one for me as I'm turning 40! Yay! But it's really the first time that I find it so hard to be reaching a new number. For the first time, I really realize I'm not a young adult anymore. At thirty, I was deep in parenthood, and between my work and my family, I did not see the years go by! Now that my kids are young teenagers, I'm starting to have time for myself again, but it feels like I've skipped from 30 straight to 40.

Anyways, at 40 I feel better than ever before. I have amazing kids, a great husband and friends that are very dear to my heart. So when my birthday comes, I'm going to celebrate and...

"Pop the Champagne"

On the "Heidi's Vines", I used two coats of pearl shimmering paint, then inked the borders in black.

For the "Frame Jenna", I used two coats of black embossing ink.

For the title, made of "Alpha set 1", I applied two coats of gold embossing powder.

"Dogs have a special way of adding love to every day" pour 2Crafty

Hello 2Crafty friends!

That is it, the crazy pace of every day life is back for our family. Now that the pandemic is mostly under control (fingers crossed), our evening sport activities have resumed and are taking place at an unprecedented rate! 

Our favorite furry friend is usually disappointed when his people leave the house for the evening but we found a way to make him part of all of our evenings. We make sure there's always one of us that goes with him for a long walk or a visit to the dog park while the others are at their activities, and then he tags along for the ride to pick up everyone! His joy and love when he sees us as we get in the car is the perfect way to finish a workout!

On the "Frame Hearth String", I applied a coat of copper foil very roughly. 

On the "Leafy Shrub Set 2" and "Maggie's Swirl", I used two coats of teal-green embossing powder.

For the title, "Dog Saying", I used one coat of copper-and-verdigris embossing enamel.

"Dream" pour 2Crafty

Hello 2Crafty friends!

A few years ago I discovered SUP (Standup Paddleboard) as my new favorite sport, alongside yoga. However, 2 years ago I got an injury that prevented me from doing most sports until late 2020.
But of course here in Quebec we have snow, blistering cold and all sorts of bad weather that makes it impossible to practice SUP outside of the June-September season, so I still had to wait several months after my doctor had given the green light for me to resume sports.
In the last 3 months, I've really been making the most of it, going pretty much every week
and having a real blast!

I've prepared a small video showing the techniques I used to prepare this layout
featuring me doing SUP!

"Dream"

For the "Mini Title Stick Set 3", I simply rubbed a little bit of black ink.

On the "Ava's Frame", I applied green-gold embossing enamel.

 For the "Grass Clumps", I used two coats of green ink and traced the borders with black ink.

For the title, part of "Fine Word set 3", I applied 2 coats of black embossing powder and then applied a bit of red metallic paint on top.

I hope you are all doing well. This week is my hubby's birthday, he'll be on his last big year before the big 40! It's been a while since I had made a layout featuring him so I though it would be a fitting celebration to make one for his birthday!

"With you, anything is possible"

For the '11" Round Flourish Frame", I used aged-silver embossing enamel. On the "Rose Set" behind the picture, I used two coats of black-silver shimmering paint.

On the "Mini title Stick Set 1", I simply rubbed some black ink. For the title, "With you, anything is possible", I applied one coat of white embossing powder and dabbed some silver embossing ink on top.

"#whatever" pour 2Crafty

 Hello 2Crafty friends!

Two weeks ago my son got back home minutes after leaving for a bicycle ride that was supposed to last a few hours. He was visibly in pain, with his hands all scratched up, but he didn't want to show it so he just took an ice pack and applied it to his arm. Well, an hour later, his arm was swelling up and there was no hiding anymore! We went to the hospital and found out he had partially broke some bones in his left arm.

Luckily for him, he only has to wear a splint and not a full cast. So with his great teen attitude, he was all like "didn't even hurt; I just need to wear this cool looking glove for a month!"

On the "Grid Panel", I applied one coat of black gesso then sprinkled some waterpaint pigments that I then activated by spraying water. For the first chipboard from "Hinges Pack" (the one on top), I applied two coats of brown alcohol ink and rubbed some black ink on top. For the second chipboard from the "Hinges Pack" (behind the other one), I used aged wine embossing enamel.

On the "Element Set 1", I applied two coats of black embossing ink and some gold wax on top of it.

For the title, "#whatever", I used two coats of charcoal rustic paint and rubbed some gold wax on top.

I hope you are all doing good! I am fresh off my summer vacations and I am feelling totally recharged! Today I'd like to share a layout featuring my family and I on our nice camping trip last week.

On the "Star Bubble set", I applied two coats of green embossing ink. For the "Circle Revolution Frames", I used two coats of shimmering blue metallic paint.

For the title "Summer fun", I applied two coats of yellow embossing ink and one coat of transparent sparkling embossing powder.

"Token to my heart" pour 2Crafty

Hello 2Crafty friends

I hope you're all doing well. The layout I'm sharing today features Neho, our very own good boy! He's now a teenager dog and just like his human teenage brother and sister, he likes to sleep a lot during the day and turns into full party mode during the night! They form a great team!

"Token to my heart" 

For the "Handdran Flowers", I applied 2 coats of green embossing ink.

On the "Trudi's Vine", I used ivory-green embossing enamel. 

On the "Frame Fine Circle with Butterflies", I applied a coat of brown alchool ink and then rubbed a bit of gold wax on top with my finger. Finally, I dabbed a bit of white embossing ink. For the title "Token of my Heart Set", I used two coats of rusty charcoal paint, then rubbed some gold wax on top.
