"Swimming" pour 2Crafty

 Hello 2Crafty friends!

One thing my family has really been missing since this pandemic started is our weekly sporting activities. My son has been part of a swimming team for several years now and made several friends along the way. He's been missing them and his favorite sport a lot since everything was cancelled what now seems like an eternity ago.
 

"Swimming"

For the "Intricate Seahorses", I used some green shimmering paint and inked the borders in black.

On the "Tiny Leaf Stems", I used baby-blue embossing ink and smudged some teal wax on top with my fingers. For the "Splats Puddle", I applied teal-gold shimmering paint.

For "Everything is Cancelled", I used two coats of black embossing powder. On the title, "Swimming", I applied white-blue embossing enamel then smudged some teal wax on top.

"Shine Bright" pour 2Crafty

Hello 2Crafty friends!

Today I'd like to share a layout that has been a few months in the making. I had picked a few pictures of my daughter, showing much how she has grown over the past 5 years, but I was failing to find the right background to match her perky spirit. It turns out that the solution was to create a background myself! So I got to work on that background with lots of texture and some colors that really represented her. Then I picked amazing chipboards to make those pictures pop as I wanted! I'm pretty happy about the results.

"Shine Bright"

For the "Frame Botanical", I used midnight teal embossing powder and applied some pink wax on top with my finger. On the "gorgeous girl", part of "Mini Title Stick Set 1", I just applied black ink.

With the "Decorative Disc Set 2", I applied a shimmering light pink mousse paint. Then I inked the borders ink black.

For the title, "Shine bright", I used silver embossing ink".

"Live it up" pour 2Crafty

Hello 2Crafty fans!

I hope the new year is treating you well so far! Today, I'd like to share a layout showcasing my favorite moment of 2020: our camping trip where we visited a bunch of amazing places around Quebec. This was during a "break" in the pandemic where the number cases was much lower and going out and around felt amazing after several months of staying at home.

"Live it up"

On the "Ariel's Spray", I applied metallic pewter paint and then dabbed some raspberry embossing ink.

On the "Lattice Leaves", I applied burgundy embossing powder and then dabbed a bit of silver embossing ink on top.

For the title, "Live it up", I applied two coats of black embossing powder. Then, I sprayed a few drops of metallic paint.

"The Magic of Snow" pour 2Crafty

Hello 2Crafty friends!

Happy new year to each and everyone of you! I hope that 2021 will be an amazing year, full of joy, love, laughter and crafting! 

So far here 2021 has treated us with a nice snowfall on new years day and some beautiful mild weather since then. It's perfect for our dog Neho, who just loves snow above almost everything else in life. When there's nice snow like this, he'll spend hours playing and frolicking in the snow, when he pretty much refuses to go outside during the hot summer days.

"The Magic of Snow"

I separated the "Corner Crackle" in two in order to use it as a background texture and applied some old silver wax on it

On the "Berry Vine Set", I applied a red metallic paint and then dabbed a bit of silver embossing ink on top. Finally, I traced the borders with black ink. For the "Foliage Set 8", I used a pewter metallic paint and also inked the borders with black ink.

On the title "The Magic of Snow", I applied one coat of black embossing powder and then dabbed some silver embossing ink on top to give a snowy effect on the black.

"Family forever & always" pour 2Crafty

Ho Ho Ho 2Crafty friends!

It's that jolly time of the year as we're finally nearing the end of this 2020 year! Snow has arrived here in Quebec and it's beautiful walking outside with all the houses illuminated and reflecting in the white snow. It's also my favorite time of the year for crafting, in a comfy sweater with a nice hot tea after playing outside in the snow; it's so therapeutic and relaxing. Speaking of sweaters, today's layout features me and my daughter wearing our matching Christmas sweaters!

"Family forever & always"

On the "Leafy Shrub Set 2", I used an ivory embossing enamel then I rubbed some gold wax on top of it. 

On the "Foliage Set 6", I applied two coats of red embossing ink then rubbed a gold wax again on top.

For the "Frame Botanical", I applied an antique gold embossing enamel. On the title, "Family forever & always", I used two coats of black embossing powder.

"Live Laugh Love" pour 2Crafty

Hello 2Crafty fans!

I hope you're doing great! The layout I'm sharing with you today all started from a nice mix of colors I had started to play with. It's one of those times where you actually start backwards from what you're used to and you're not too sure where you're going to end! But I'm very happy with the result, and it was even approved by my daughter (which is quite a big endorsement)!

Live Laugh Love

For the "Summer Leaf Stems", I rubbed an antique silver wax with my fingers and used my heat gun to get a smoother finish.

On the "4" Mandala No.3", I applied one coat of navy watercolor then added one coat of pink on top to get a dark blue-purple color.

For the "Frame Allegra", I used pink metallic paint and dabbed some teal metallic embossing ink on top of it.

For the title, "Live Laugh Love", I applied a pink-gold embossing enamel.

"Family Time" pour 2Crafty

  Hello 2Crafty fans!

I hope you're all doing great! A few weeks ago my husband, my kids and I went for our first geocaching trek. It was an amazing experience, walking in the beautiful forest, full of amazing autumn colors here in Quebec. Plus it's the perfect pandemic activity, as we were completely alone by ourselves! The layout I'm sharing today is built around one of the picture we took during that fun trek.

"Family Time"

For the "Lattice Leaves" in the background, I applied a gold wax with my fingers and rubbed it.

On the "Thick Moroccan Panel", I used a metallic teal embossing ink and inked the border with black ink.

On the "Flourish Adornment Set 6", I applied two coats of dark teal metallic embossing powder. 

For the "Frame Elouise", I used blue-ivory embossing enamel and rubbed a gold wax on top of it. For the title part of "Family Night Set", I applied two coats of black embossing powder and dabbed some  metallic teal embossing ink.
