Two weeks ago my son got back home minutes after leaving for a bicycle ride that was supposed to last a few hours. He was visibly in pain, with his hands all scratched up, but he didn't want to show it so he just took an ice pack and applied it to his arm. Well, an hour later, his arm was swelling up and there was no hiding anymore! We went to the hospital and found out he had partially broke some bones in his left arm.

Luckily for him, he only has to wear a splint and not a full cast. So with his great teen attitude, he was all like "didn't even hurt; I just need to wear this cool looking glove for a month!"

"#whatever"

On the "Grid Panel", I applied one coat of black gesso then sprinkled some waterpaint pigments that I then activated by spraying water. For the first chipboard from "Hinges Pack" (the one on top), I applied two coats of brown alcohol ink and rubbed some black ink on top. For the second chipboard from the "Hinges Pack" (behind the other one), I used aged wine embossing enamel.

On the "Element Set 1", I applied two coats of black embossing ink and some gold wax on top of it.

For the title, "#whatever", I used two coats of charcoal rustic paint and rubbed some gold wax on top.

"Summer fun" pour 2Crafty

I hope you are all doing good! I am fresh off my summer vacations and I am feelling totally recharged! Today I'd like to share a layout featuring my family and I on our nice camping trip last week.

"Summer fun"

On the "Star Bubble set", I applied two coats of green embossing ink. For the "Circle Revolution Frames", I used two coats of shimmering blue metallic paint.

For the title "Summer fun", I applied two coats of yellow embossing ink and one coat of transparent sparkling embossing powder.

"Token to my heart" pour 2Crafty

I hope you're all doing well. The layout I'm sharing today features Neho, our very own good boy! He's now a teenager dog and just like his human teenage brother and sister, he likes to sleep a lot during the day and turns into full party mode during the night! They form a great team!

"Token to my heart" 

For the "Handdran Flowers", I applied 2 coats of green embossing ink.

On the "Trudi's Vine", I used ivory-green embossing enamel. 

On the "Frame Fine Circle with Butterflies", I applied a coat of brown alchool ink and then rubbed a bit of gold wax on top with my finger. Finally, I dabbed a bit of white embossing ink. For the title "Token of my Heart Set", I used two coats of rusty charcoal paint, then rubbed some gold wax on top.

"Memories" pour 2Crafty

I hope everyone is doing great! Today I'm sharing a layout featuring my two besties in a picture taken back in simpler, pre-pandemic times. I can't wait to meet them again in a few days, as restrictions are being slowly lifted.

"Memories"

For the "Weeping Vine", I used ivory embossing enamel.

On the "Polaroid Frames", I stamped a pattern with some embossing powder and then rubbed some black ink very roughly on top.

For the title, "memories", part of the "Line Words - Goodtimes Borders", I used two coats of jade-teal embossing powder.

"Essential Worker" pour 2Crafty

 Hello 2Crafty fans!

Summer is approaching quickly here in Quebec and restriction are being relaxed as vaccination is going well and COVID cases have dropped a lot. This is an amazing way to start the sunny season after what has been a difficult year of lockdown! My colleagues and I have been exposed to a lot of active cases as part of our job, have been tested a lot, but we're now hopeful that the worst of it has passed.

"Essential Worker"

For the "Framed Heart String", I used two coats of green metallic embossing ink.

On the "Flourish Adornment Set 6", I applied one coat of copper embossing enamel.

For the title, "I'm an Essential Worker", I used one coat of black gesso then rubbed some rosegold wax with my fingers.

I hope you're all doing well! Today I'd like to share a layout featuring my two pre-teens showing how much they like when I take picture of them! My son in particular really dislike any form of photo shoot so when I asked him to take the pose with his sister he wasn't cooperating much!

For the "Aztec Feathers", I applied some teal embossing powder then rubbed a bit of purple wax on top.

On the "Aztec Flower Set 1", I applied one coat of black gesso, rubbed a bit of purple wax and finally dabbed some teal metallic embossing ink. For the "Decorative Doily", I used two coats of teal shimmering paint and dabbed some silver embossing ink.

For the title, "Simple Moments make Great Memories", I applied two coats of silver embossing ink.

"Perfect as you are" pour 2Crafty

 Hello 2Crafty friends!

Today I'd like to share a layout I made featuring the daughter of one of my besties. Spring is in full bloom here and I find that the picture captured the warmth and joy that we feel when we awaken from our long winter slumber.

"Perfect as you are"

I cut some parts of the "Leafy Shrub Set 1" to make it blend with the "Esther Vine". Then, on both, I applied two coats of honey ink and inked the borders in black.

For the "Chunky Dandelion" and "Whispy Dandelions", I used one coat of metallic red paint and inked the borders in black. For the title, "Perfect as you are", I applied some black-bronze embossing enamel.
